SWITCH:COLAB – a consultative forum on circular economy solutions for industries

Participants from the SwitchMed industry pilot projects in Israel, Morocco, and Tunisia will be attending the World Circular Economy Forum in Helsinki and exchange on important lessons learned from global projects on the circular economy, along with attendees from the EU-funded SWITCH2CE project.

As part of the World Circular Economy Forum 2023 in Helsinki, Finland, UNIDO is organizing on 1 Jun the first edition of the SWITCH:COLAB, an in-person consultative forum to present and discuss innovative and scalable examples of applied circular economy conversions in industries, implemented in UNIDO-led projects across different regions in Africa and Asia.

Part of the SWITCH:COLAB programme will be open for WCEF2023 participants, and if you are in Helsinki, we invite you to join us for:

Fireside chat session (09:00-10:00 AM EET/ GMT+3, Helsinki time): We will explore important milestones, resources and lessons learned from two EU-funded flagships projects led by UNIDO: Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains (SWITCH2CE) project and SwitchMed project. You will hear and discuss innovative and scalable circular economy examples being implemented under these projects and beyond.
Interactive session of the Circularity Game on Plastic or Textile (10:00 – 10:45 AM EET/ GMT+3, Helsinki time): Developed by Circle Economy under the Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains project, this gamified assessment platform aims to assess and raise awareness among suppliers on their knowledge, adoption levels and needs in terms of the circular economy. Please bring your phone to access the Game online during this session.
