The fourth edition of SwitchMed Connect took place on 19-20 October 2021. It was the first edition of Phase II of the programme (2019-2023) and it took place both in Barcelona and virtually.
The first day could be attended with invitation only. It hosted the Opening conference “joining the dots” in which the project managers of the programme gave an overview of work realised in the different components, and the Steering committee, gathering SwitchMed National Focal Points, donors and implementing partners to discuss the achievements and way forward.
On the second day of the event, the activities organised were: Public Conference: “Together we rise”, and 4 parallel Track sessions on Industry, Green Entrepreneurship, Policy and Networking and Communication. It ended with the celebration of the first edition of the WeMed Award.
Around 300 participants attended the event on Zoom. SwitchMed Connect was also live streamed on SwitchMed Youtube and Facebook accounts, and some clips of the event were released on SwitchMed social media channels, reaching 16 735 people and gathering 2 653 views.
