Throughout the event, committed partners and inspiring speakers came together to share their expertise and experiences, igniting discussions and stimulating the development of sustainable entrepreneurship in Morocco. Mr. Mohammed El Kettani, the President of the Association for the Management of Solidarity SME Centers, delivered an engaging opening and welcome speech, setting the tone for the event.
The SwitchMed representative, Mr. Hichem SALEM, took the opportunity to shed light on the SwitchMed initiative, a collaborative effort in partnership with the European Union (EU). His presentation emphasized the importance of embracing the principles of the green and circular economy, recognizing their immense potential to drive sustainable development and address pressing environmental challenges.
To ensure active participation and engagement from the attendees, a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Innovations in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem” was organized. Distinguished representatives from various organizations enriched the conversation, including Dr. Imane Belmaati from ANAPEC, Mr. Abdellatif Komat from Hassan II University of Casablanca, and Ms. Sarah Diouri from IRESEN – the Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies. This insightful discussion explored emerging trends and novel approaches to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Morocco. The panel was skillfully moderated by Ms. Khaddouj Moudrik, the Coordinator of the CTPES Network, ensuring a fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences.
The SWITCMED II 2020-2023 event culminated in a memorable awards ceremony, recognizing and honouring the top three Switchers. These exceptional individuals or teams were awarded for their outstanding contributions to innovative green projects. Their remarkable achievements serve as inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs in the green sector, highlighting the transformative power of sustainable and environmentally conscious business ideas.
Looking ahead, the CTPES Network remains dedicated to its mission of fostering collaboration and promoting an entrepreneurial culture within the ecosystem.
