Following the outcomes of the MED TEST II project in Lebanon, a roadmap for scaling up RECP was drafted by the government and key stakeholders from the industry. The initial activities for MED TEST III will build on this roadmap and include improvement measures on the environmental performance of industrial areas and parks.

At policy level, Lebanon has successfully developed their Sustainable Consumption and Production National Action Plan (SCP-NAP) (UN Sustainable Development Goal 12) and is currently implementing it. For further information please visit the Lebanon national policy hub.


The Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP/RAC) of the United Nations Environment Programme Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP) provides enhanced support services for both business support organisations (BSO) and entrepreneurs to foster the creation, incubation and acceleration of sustainable business models. These services include the transfer of methodologies to the BSO and training, coaching and advisory services to green entrepreneurs, as well as activities promoting networking and access to finance.
